I’ve built a cheat sheet for the Sequential Pro 3, written from the Pro 3 User’s Guide (OS 1.2) and the OS 1.1 and 1.2 addenda. A short “Start Here” section at the front explains how the pieces of the synth fit together before you get into the details.
There are two versions:
- Desktop: two-column layout for printing or reading on a computer or tablet.
- Mobile: the same content sized for reading on a mobile device.
Both have a clickable table of contents, so you can jump straight to any section. The English version is shown below. The cheat sheet can be downloaded in English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Português (Brasil) and 日本語.
What’s in it
- A MIDI reference with the CC numbers, NRPN numbers, MIDI messages and SysEx formats.
- A “Which section do I need?” finder that points you to the right section for what you’re trying to do, plus a short “Read when…” line at the top of every section.
- Sections for setup and programs, oscillators and mixer, filters, envelopes, LFOs, the mod matrix, effects and feedback, performance controls, patch morphing and the playlist, the arpeggiator and clock, external audio and CV, global settings, sound recipes, and troubleshooting and maintenance.
- An expanded sequencer section: play modes and transport, recording notes, rests, ties and velocity, the sequence editor, phrases A to D, paraphonic sequencing, modulation tracks, copy, mute and erase, the Seq params menu, and Seq Lock with Cue Program.
Features added in OS 1.1 and 1.2 are tagged, so you can see which ones need the newer firmware.
